My name is Leon Valencia Currie. I am 22 years old and I am from Saint Paul, Minnesota USA. I use they/them pronouns. I am a graduate of the BA program at Instituto Allende in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico. My favorite means of working are painting, textiles, watercolor and drawing. My pieces are motivated by intimacy, identity and it aims to create connection with the viewer through vulnerable discussions of race, identity, childhood abuse and mental illness.
