Elyse Claire Lodermeier is an Asian American artist currently located in Minneapolis, MN. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art with a concentration in painting and a minor in art history from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in 2020.
Art and the act of making is therapeutic and acts as a form of translation for Lodermeier when words fall short. Utilizing various watermedia and paper, her work revolves around transformation, emotional vulnerability, and tender connection as she wades through her own journey of identity. Currently her work is exploring love and how we utilize it to form connections and build identities.
