2023 PF Juried Artists-in-Residence Program

The goal of this residency is three fold: 1) to provide much needed space for rest and reflection 2) to provide access to GMAC space + resources for artmaking at no cost 3) to provide experience at a professional artist residency that can be leveraged for future artist residency applications -- and can be added as a line item on your CV

Deadline: October 31, 2022

Residency Dates: February 2 - 11, 2023

This residency is open to applications from artists in the Public Functionary Studio program (PF Studios) who have either 1) been in PF Studios for at least 1 year prior to application deadline, or 2) are up to 1 year from departure from the program. Juried artists will receive 8 full days and 2 partial days (due to travel) of free studio access in the Art Colony's Founders Hall Studio, along with lodging at Ella's Inn, which is located directly next to the studio.

The residency includes a number of recreational activities, including snow showing and a visit to a sauna, along with space and time to focus on pre-defined intentions.

Residents will also receive work and travel stipends.
