Neeka is a Minnesota-based textile artist, educator, and cultural storyteller whose work is rooted in creativity, community, and genuine connection. Through tufting and textile arts, she creates spaces where people can slow down, make with their hands, and express their own stories. Her background spans fashion, visual merchandising, and years of community work - experiences that shape her approach to color, texture, and design. Neeka has collaborated with organizations such as the Minnesota Vikings, the Minnesota Timberwolves, Nike, Airbnb, and the Minneapolis Institute of Art, and she remains grateful for the partnerships and commissions that continue to support her practice. As she grows as an artist, Neeka is carving out more time to focus on her own creative work, exploring new ideas and expanding the possibilities of textile-based storytelling. She also brings her energy as DJ NEEKASODOPE into her creative world, connecting sound, culture, and visual art in her own way.
