Yoga with Jiggy @ The Study

Hello my Name is Jiggy, and I will be hosting 5 yoga classes this April. A bit about me, I have been teaching yoga for a year.  I completed my teacher training at the illustrious 612 Jungle in here Minneapolis, Mn. I have mostly been teaching one on one sessions but now I am feeling called to open my classes up to the community!  

I will be teaching two types of classes. Tuesday’s  11am Yin yoga and Thursday’s 7pm Ashtanga Vinyasa for 60 minutes 

What to expect :Both classes are beginners friendly! 

Yin yoga is a restorative class is usually consists of a series of long-held, passive floor poses that mainly work the lower part of the body – the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, lower spine. These areas are especially rich in connective tissues. The poses are held for up to 4-6 minutes. 

Ashtanga vinyasa - this class for beginners is a great way for anyone to start yoga, especially if you prefer a more physically challenging style of yoga. This consisting of a series of poses executed in swift flow, combined with deep, controlled breathing.
